Suriya and KV Anand are at the Stan Winston Studios in the US to supervise the special effects work on Matraan. The director wants some breath-taking special effects in Matraan and entrusted the job to the best in the industry.

Incidentally, Endhiran’s special effects were also done this studio. Jurassic Park and Avatar are some of the other flicks for which special effects were done at the Stan Winston Studios.

With the leader in special effects being roped in for Matraan, the film is sure to be a visual treat.

7aum Arivu has successfully completed 100 days. The film was a Diwali release last year and had a grand opening at the box office. Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and directed by AR Murugadoss, this magnum opus had Suriya in the lead and marked the debut of Shruti Haasan in Tamil.

7aum Arivu is based on the story of a young Pallava Prince travelling all the way to China to impart his knowledge and the film rolls to the present day from where the story begins. Harris Jayaraj had scored the music for this film.

Producer Udhyanidhi Stalin says that,  a couple of days ago they started advance booking for 7am Arivu. We receive a big response from the audience. Within few hours, the tickets were sold in all the theaters. So the film makers are interested in releasing the movie 7am Arivu in advance.

When Suriya was questioned if he met Rajini after his arrival from Singapore, the star replied that he did not meet him in person. However, he and his wife Jyothika had penned a letter together and had it gift wrapped and Suriya delivered it in person at Rajinikanth’s residence.

Suriya said that he did not wish to disturb the Superstar who is recuperating after a major illness. The star also added that he did know if Rajini had the time to read their letter.

The minute the advance bookings for 7aum Arivu began at some theatres, the tickets were moving out like hot cakes. According to the film’s producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, the advance bookings have been completed for the first five days of its release already in most of the theatres.
